1, Starting from Gravesite Plain:

  • Head towards Castle Ensis but do not enter. Instead, move east when you reach the Site of Grace ‘Castle Front’.
  • Follow the path down the hill, passing by warring trolls. This route will eventually lead you to Scadu Altus, allowing you to bypass Castle Ensis.

2, Navigating Through the Poison Bog:

  • At the end of the slope, turn left and continue through the poison bog area.
  • When you see the large Miranda Sprout, take the path to your left. Beware of the demi-human militiamen who will attack with poison bombs and large scythes.

3, Entering the Cave:

  • At the bottom of the slope, you’ll encounter a large crab and another Miranda Sprout. Rush past them using Torrent, avoiding the poison clouds produced by the Miranda Sprout.
  • Enter the cave, light your lantern, and hop up the rocky ledges to your left. Loot the corpse above for 1x Deep-Purple Lily, then continue deeper into the cave.

4, Through Ellac River Cave:

  • Ride through the shallow waters, passing a statue with 1x Revered Spirit Ash. Activate the Site of Grace ‘Ellac River Cave‘ and proceed to the main Ellac Riverbed.

5, Navigating the Riverbed:

  • Head south towards the waterfall, summoning Torrent to navigate the rocky outcrops in the ravine.
  • Use Torrent’s double jump to safely descend. Loot the Greater Potentate’s Cookbook (12) from a central pillar and continue jumping down to solid ground.

6, Dealing with Enemies:

  • As you descend, watch out for bird monsters on the rocky ledges. Move cautiously to avoid falling.
  • Collect the 1x Somber Smithing Stone (4) from a corpse along the way, then proceed to a lower level.

7, Reaching the Cerulean Coast:

  • Activate the nearby Site of Grace and talk to the friendly ghost NPC who gives a clue about a coffin in Thiollier’s questline.
  • Continue down the ravine using Torrent, navigating through the river tunnel until you reach a lake.
  • Cross the lake on Torrent, avoiding the lightning goats and the Furnace Golem. Head south-west up a gentle slope.

8, Arriving at the Cerulean Coast:

  • As you reach the fields of blue grass, you’ll know you’ve arrived at the Cerulean Coast.
